1. Gas
The initial gas inside the laser tube on laser die cutter is pure carbon dioxide, and its output power is very low. Later, some auxiliary gas, such as helium, was gradually added, which greatly increased the power of the laser tube. Helium gas is currently the most important auxiliary gas for the laser tube, mainly because helium has a good thermal conductivity. After the helium gas is added to the laser tube, the temperature can be well controlled during the laser die cutting machine operation, and the laser tube power of laser die cutter has a very good promotion effect.
2. Temperature
Higher temperature of the laser tube will cause the internal carbon dioxide gas to decompose, thereby reducing the concentration of carbon dioxide gas in the laser tube, thereby reducing the power of the laser die cutter. If the temperature during the laser die cutting machine operation is not controlled effectively, the power of the laser tube will drop rapidly until it goes to nothing. In severe cases, it will even directly break through the glass tube on laser die cutter and cause damage.
3. Current
Current is also an important factor for laser tubes. The power of the laser tube gradually increases as the laser die cutter’s current increases. However, when the power of the laser tube reaches a maximum value, the current continues to increase, but the power is decreased. This is because when the maximum power is reached, continuing to increase the current will cause the temperature inside the laser tube to exceed the range that the laser tube can withstand, and the laser tube power of laser die cutting machine will begin to drop.
