Laser tube on laser die cutting machine is one of the most important parts to ensure machine running stably and precisely. After long time using of the laser die cutting machine, the power of laser beam gets decreased which can make die plate not cut through. But sometimes, it is not because of the problem of laser tube, maybe there is something else wrong happening on the laser die cutting machine. Therefore, how to diagnose if it is the problem of the laser tube? In this article, we are going to discuss about how to make judgement on the laser tube problem.

1. See the laser beam’s color. Experienced operators can know the problem of laser tube just by seeing the laser beam’s color. When a new laser tube is installed on the laser die cutting machine, laser beam should be a little bit purple. If you find that there are some white laser light spots when laser beam is generated, it might be the problem of laser tube, and the laser beam on laser die cutting machine won’t be powerful enough to cut the die plate.

2. Test the laser light spots of laser die cutting machine. A good laser tube has solid light spot. If you use thick acrylic plate to reflect it, the light spot should be sharp which means the laser beam can be very focused on the die and it is powerful.


However, if the laser die cutting machine can't cut through the die plate, there are also some other problems on the laser die cutting machine. The machine operators must check the machine and make some detailed diagnosis.
